  • Key identification features : A small prostrate, succulent, perennial herb. Leaves are simple, alternate, linear and fleshy. Flowers are terminal or solitary, sessile and surrounded by involucre of 6-8 long leaves. Fruit is ovoid, dehiscent, with a conical cap.

  • Comments : Occasional in Eastern Ghats on rock crevices and also scattered on grassy lateritic soil.
