  • Comments : Often in plains in discrete clumps. This is the Khus-khus or Vetiver grass. It grows usually in wet situations, such as the bunds of paddy fields and tanks. Occasionally cultivated for its aromatic roots which are used in scent-making and sometimes woven into mats, fans etc.
