- Habitat : Deciduous forest
- Key identification features : A small deciduous tree. Leaves are large up to 45 cm. long, pinnately compound with 7-13 leaflets which are smooth, ovate with acute apex, slightly asymmetrical at the base. Flowers are tiny, whitish in dense panicles. Both male and female flowers are borne on the same plant. Fruit is an ovoid drupe with 1-5 seeds, green but ripening yellow. Bark is brown with faint longitudinal fissures.

- Comments : Rare in moist deciduous forests and plains. Occasionally planted in estates and gardens. The fruits are edible and often pickled.
