  • Key identification features : An erect or sometimes small climbing shrubs. Broadly ovate or elliptic, chartaceous, shining, pubescent along nerves with base rounded and acute apex. Nerves being about 6 pairs, .5 cm long and hairy. Flowers are white, fragrant in 3-flowered terminal cymes. Calyx tube 5-7 lobed and corolla is about 6-lobed. Berry is globose, violet when ripe.

  • Comments : On hills and also around villages as an escape from cultivation. Flowers are highly fragrant.
