- Key identification features : A moderate size tree with aerial roots. Bark thick, reddish-brown, rough. Leaves are very distinctive; semisaggitate, one side with a large 3-4 ribbed lobe, the other cuneate with a small 1-2 ribbed lobe. Figs are in pairs, shortly peduncled on leafless branchlets.
