  • Key identification features : Large evergreen trees. Bole buttressed. Leaves are simple, lamina is elliptic-lanceolate, abruptly acuminate, basal nerves of about 3-5, lateral nerves of about 8-13 pairs, with reticulation prominent beneath, petiole 3 cm long. Figs are in pairs, red when ripe, up to 1.1 cm across.
