  • Key identification features : A large evergreen tree with large glossy leaves and bright-red leaf sheath. Leaves are oblong-elliptic, shortly acuminate at apex. Figs are very close, axillary with thick midrib, paired, sessile, ovate-oblong, smooth and greenish-yellow when ripe.
