• Key identification features : An evergreen to sometimes deciduous, small spreading tree reaching up to 25 feet. Bark is silver-grey, relatively smooth and warty. The oval-shaped leaves grow up to 12 inches long and 7 inches broad. Figs are formed in clusters on the trunk and on larger branches.

• Comments : Rare, in moist deciduous forests, near streams of northern Eastern Ghats. These are inedible, but birds feed on them.
