  • Key identification features : A much-branched herb, softly hairy. Leaves are ovate with cordate base and toothed at margins. Flowers are small (1.5 cm across), axillary, with yellow petals. Fruits are rounded with fruitlets having 2 short spines. Mericarps are 8-10 seeded, black to brown in colour.
