  • Habitat : Deciduous forest
  • Key identification features : A handsome climbing shrub. Leaves are decussate, elliptic-lanceolate with glands at the base. Flowers are in racemes, which are either axillary or terminal. Calyx has a gland. Petals are fringed, white with yellow tinge. A disc is present in the flower. Fruit is winged.

  • Comments : Occasional on the foothills of deciduous forests and also found along stream banks. Sometimes the leaves are used for rolling tobacco for smoking.
