  • Key identification features : A large climbing shrubs with single curved tendril. Leaves are ovate or elliptic, coriaceous, glabrous, shining, base cuneate and apex acuminate, 3-nerved. Flowers are in terminal cymes, many flowered, puberulous. Calyx is 5-lobed, minutely pubescent. Corolla 5-lobed, pubescent. Berries are large, 7.5 cm in diameter, globose and many seeded. Seeds are ovoid and flattened.
