  • Key identification features : A large woody climber with smooth bark. Tendril is single, bifid, circinate and smooth upwards. Leaves are ovate to elliptic, coriaceous, glabrous, shining, 3-ribbed, 3-nerved from the usually narrowed base. Flowers are small, compound with axillary puberulous cymes on old wood. Berry is crustaceous, 1-2 seeded. Seed is discoid.
