Key identification features : An annual decumbent herb. Stem white, villous. Leaf simple oblong-obovate. Flower heads silvery. Tepals rigid after anthesis. Filaments connate into a tube, 5-partite at apex. Styles linear, shorter than the tube of stamens; stigmas 2.
