  • Key identification features : Annual erect terrestrial herb. Leaves are spatulate, 1-3 nerved. Traps with basal mouth, upper lip and simple appendages. Scapes to about 8 cm, bracts, scales and bracteoles are basifixed. Calyx lobes are subequal, minutely denticulate, upper is acute, lower is shortly bifid. Corolla is pale blue, upper lip is oblong, emarginate, slightly exceeding the upper lobes of the calyx. Lower lip is obovate, crenulate, 6 mm long. Palate and not conspicuous. Spur is slightly deflexed. Capsule is depressed globose. Seeds are usualy produced, sub-globose.
