Key identification features : A evergreen tree. Bark is glutinose, brown with branchlets slender and tomentose. Leaves are crowded, acute at apex, grey, lower surface downy, pubescent. Flowers are white or yellowish in umbelules. Fruit is globose, purple when ripe.

Comments : Often on hills above 800 m, in dry evergreen forests and moist deciduous forests.
