- Key identification features : A pubescent shrubs, branchlets are quadrangular, grooved, densely pubescent. Leaves are chartaceous, ovate-elliptic, densely tomentose beneath. Racemes are in close panicles, axillary and terminal, densly villous, peduncle up to 6 cm long, bracts are leafy, lanceolate. Calyx 5-lobed, unequal, 5.5 mm, ciliate. Corolla white, tinged with pink lips. Nutlets are erect, globose, laterally attached and granulate.
