  • Key identification features : An annual herb, up to 60 cm tall, pubescent. Leaves ovate, base subtruncate, or rounded or cordate, margin crenate, serrate and base sub-acute. Flowers are in racemes, bracts linear or linear-oblong. Calyx densely, minutely pubescent. Corolla trumpet shaped, pubescent outside. Nutlets 4, granulate and minutely glochidiate.
