  • Key identification features : An erect herb up to a m tall, branchlets are hispid. Leaves are unequal, ovate-lanceolate, base is subacute to attenuate, margin is irregularly, incised-serrate. Flowers are in panicles which are subtended by oblique bracts. Bracteoles being oblique. Calyx lobes 5, subequal. Corolla, hairy, violet, 4 lobes with obscurely bilipped, sub-acute to obtuse.
