  • Key identification features : A diffuse or prostate herb, leaves variable in shape and size. Flowers are green, in dense thyrsoid spikes with the central spike longest; bracts and bracteoles deltoid-lanceolate, acuminate and aristate. Urticles ovoid, Seeds are black and shining or pale.
