  • Key identification features : An erect much branched undershrub, pubescent. Leaves are elliptic-oblong, obtuse or acute at apex, entire or serrate, pubescent. Racemes are simple or branched at base. Calyx is about 3 mm, corolla is up to 4.5 mm, red or purple. Nutlets are not mucilagenous when wetted.
