  • Key identification features : An average-sized undershrub. Branches are pubescent, quadrangular, hispid. Leaves are linear-lanceolate, hirsute, thick, gland-dotted, base narrowed, serrate with an obtuse apex. Lateral nerves about 5-7 pairs, oblique, impressed above, raised beneath; petiole is very short. Verticils are about 1-2 cm in diameter, terminal, linear and plumose. Calyx tube about 5-10 mm long, tubular-campanulate, straight, with about 10 teeth, all are equal. Corolla white, included in the calyx, upper lip bearded and is equal with the lower lip, which is 3-lobed and pubescent on the outer surface.
