  • Key identification features : A much-branched herb or undershrub. Leaves are membranous, pale green beneath, ovate, with serrate margin and cuneate base. Verticillasters are terminal, 1-2, many flowered. Calyx mouth is even. Upper lip of corolla with rufous hairs. Lower lip is longer. Nutlets 3 mm long, ovoid, smooth brown.

  • Comments : Occasional in densely forested areas and edges in shady localities up to 1500 m.
