  • Key identification features : Moderate-sized ornamental trees. Bark is brownish, rough with wood, red in colour. Leaves up to 25 cm long, 8-15 pairs and with the rachis being glabrescent. Inflorescence is axillary, corymbs. Flowers are pinkish-red to terracota-red, mildly fragrant. Stamens 10, all fertile. Upper 2 short, lower 3 long, curved, two medium with erect filaments.
