  • Key identification features : Small shrubs. Young parts yellowish resinous. Stipules present, less than a cm long. Leaves are bright green, coriaceous, oblanceolate. Flowers are unisexual; male flowers 3-5 in each bract, calyx 2-3 lobed, corolla 5, denticulate; female flowers are solitary, petals 5, creamish-white, entire. Fruit is a schizocarp, depressed globose. Seeds globose.
