  • Key identification features : An erect trailing or straggling, twining herbs or shrubs with stinging hairs. Leaves are ovate-lanceolate, margin serrate. Flowers axillary, very small, pale yellow with 3 petals. Fruits 3-lobed hairy capsules. Calyx lobes accrescent and linear in fruit.
