Key identification features : Shrubs or small trees with flexuous, velvety-pubescent branches. Leaves ovate-elliptic, subacute, pubescent along nerves. Stamens 3. Calyx of female flowers deeply lobed, style villous. Schizocarp distinctly stalked, depressed globose, 8-lobed.
