  • Key identification features : A moderate-sized evergreen tree. Young shoots pubescent. Bark is thin and grey. Leaves ovate to elliptic-oblong, cordate or rounded base, entire. Stamens are about 6-9. Ovary unilocular, with up to 9 stamens. Drupe is globose, red, 1-seeded.
