  • Key identification features : A subscandent shrub with long branchlets. Leaves are simple, ovate, orbicular, cordate, margin irregularly crenate-serrate with stalked glands, scabrous above and stellate tomentose beneath, 3-5 ribbed. Inflorescence is a raceme, stellate tomentose, with flowers in fascicles. Ovary covered with stellate scales, Fruit is a capsule, globose or oblong.
