- Key identification features : A hispid climber. Leaves deeply palmately, 7-9 lobed with lobes narrowly oval to obovate, acute or acuminate at apex, hirsute on both surfaces. Flowers in long-peduncled bracteate heads. Calyx unequal, strigose, Corolla campanulate-tubular with shades of white, pink to purple. Capsule ovoid, glabrous enclosing grey-tomentose seeds.
