  • Key identification features : A large tree of dry deciduous and semi-evergreen forests with spreading crown. Leaves are compound with three or five leaflets on winged petiole. Flowers are numerous on branched inflorescence, small and white, tinged with blue. Corolla is two-lipped and stamens 4. Fruits are small and purplish-black when ripe. Bark grey-brown and vertically fissured at regular intervals.
