  • Key identification features : Rhizome short creeping, densely covered by ovate-lanceolate scales all over. Stipes dark brown, rounded below, grooved above, glabrous. Lamina oblong-lanceolate, bipinnate; pinnae upto 12 pairs, slightly ascending, shortly stalked; pinnules upto 4 pairs; pinnule pale green, glabrous above and below; texture stiff herbaceous. Sori more or less median along veins, not reaching the margin, indusia pale brown, entire; spores ellipsoid.
