  • Key identification features : Rhizome is long, creeping and sparsely covered by ovate-lanceolate scales. Fronds elliptic or lanceolate, arranged in a single row on the adaxial side of the rhizome, entire frond upto 62 cm long and 6 cm wide with pale brown, distinct stipe, margin entire; midrib distinctly raised below, flattened or shallowly grooved above, veins distinct and slightly raised above and below; pinnae pale green, glabrous all over; texture membranaceous or thin herbaceous. Sori numberous, distributed all over the lower surface of the frond at random; spores yellowish-green.
