  • Key identification features : Rhizome erect, densely covered by ovate-lanceolate scales at the apex. Stipes tufted, scaly at the base, glabrous above, abaxially rounded, pale brown to dark brown, polished; adaxially flattened, light green, not polished. Lamina ovate or ovate-lanceolate, tripinnate, termination in a lobed, acuminate apex; primary pinnae upto 20 pairs, alternate.
