  • Key identification features : The rhizome is erect and densely covered by lanceolate scales all over. The stipes are numerous, tufted, dark brown; densely covred with long and pale brown, multicellular, uniseriate, slender hairs all over. The lamina is oblong-lanceolate, progressively narrowed towards, simply pinnate; pinnae about 40 pairs, alternate, sessile or sub-sessile. Pinnae pale green coloured, texture herbaceous with long, soft and pale brown hairs sparsely distributed both above and below. The sori are marginal, reniform or orbicular; indusia densely or sparsely pubescent above.
