  • Key identification features : Ferns with short creeping rhizomes covered densely with long and tubular brownish hairs; Stipes compacted, long, dark brown and are densely hairy; Lamina oblong-lanceolate, tripinnate; primary pinnae green, alternate with long forked stalk bearing a dormant bud on the axis and each forked branch has 2-3 alternate pinnules; Costa raised on both sides; Veins distinct, glabrous on both surfaces; Sporangia are long, finger-like spiked, penta-paired protected by indusium and are arranged adaxially along the margin of the pinnules; Spores are spherical and yellowish-green.
