    I am revising the genus Tectaria from India. I am suggesting you that, this species is Tectaria wightii only. Tectaria herpetocaulos is having long creeping, slender rhizome and dimorphic frond having lower pinnae bifurcate. I collected the specie Tectaria polymorpha and T. wightii from south India.
