  • Key identification features : These plants are irregular in shape, prostrate stem, rooting occasionally all over. Leaves are at the base of main stem, uniform, ovate, acute and entire; leaves on the rest of the part of main stem and lateral branches dimorphic; median leaves ascending; lateral leaves narrowly ovate, margin finely denticulate; leaves pale green, sporophylls uniform, broadly ovate, dentate, megasporangia borne at the basal region, microsporangia borne towards distal part of the cone; microspores pale brown, triangular with rounded corners; megaspores three per sporangium, pale green.
