  • Key identification features : Rhizome is erect, covered by ovate-lanceolate scales all over. Stipes are brownish-green to dark brown, rounded below, sparsely covered by small, soft, pale brown scales all over. Lamina is simply pinnate, oblanceolate to linear-lanceolate, progressively narrowed to the distal part; pinnae upto 30 pairs, sub-opposite at base, alternate above, shortly stalked; pinnae pale green, glabrous above and below except the occurrence of small, soft scales all over the rachis; texture subcoriaceous. Sori copious, more or less one per lobe, imbricate, spores reniform or elliptic, perispore with narrow, folded wing.
