  • Key identification features : Small annual scapigerous herbs. Leaves radicle, glabrous beneath, sparsely pubescent above. Scapes longer than leaves. Flowers pink in colour with wing petals having 2-lobes. Pollens 4-colpate, exine reticulate. Capsule ellipsoid with a spiral hook.

  • Comments : Found ditributed between rock crevices, vertical black boulders, amidst grasses in loose soil; spray zones of waterfalls and cemented walls and also tree trunks. (Janarthanam et al , 2011). Chromosome No.: 2n=20 (Bhaskar, 1976, 1980).
  • Conservation Status : Least Concern (LC)
