  • Key identification features : A medium size tree of about 15 m. height. Leaves are simple,smooth to stellate-pubescent; leaf blade elliptic to orbicular, usually obliquely cordate at base, 5-6 nerved; margin serrate; stipules auricled ; petiole 1-3 cm long and thickened at the apex. Infloresence is axillary, a cyme of 3-6 flowers. Fruit is a drupe.
