  • Key identification features : A tomentose shrub. Leaves are simple obliquely elliptic-ovate,doubly serrate with scattered stellate hairs above and densely tomentose beneath the lamina. Flowers are in axillary cymes, polygamous. Petals are white, limbs are as long as or longer than glands. Stamens are about 40. Stigma of several finger-like structures. Fruit is a drupe and hairy.
