  • Key identification features : A gregarious woody shrub. Leaves are simple, elliptic-obovate, obliquely cordate at base, crenate serrate in margin and palmately 3 -5 ribbed. Flowers are axillary cymes. Sepals are brown, hairy and 2 lipped. Petals red turning grey with age and reflexed. Fruit is spiraly twisted.
