  • Key identification features : Armed with short spines, stellately tomentose and is a prickly under shrub. Leaf is shallowly lobed, ovate-oblong, somewhat oblique. Cymes are short, few-flowered or many flowered. Calyx is somewhat prickly, corolla is blue, slightly stellately hairy. Berries are globose, about a cm across, glabrous and yellow.
