  • Key identification features : A medium-sized tree with spiny branches. Leaves are alternate, compound with three leaflets. Flowers are borne on branched axillary inflorescence, fragrant and about 2 cm. across. Fruit is globose with a hard rind. A deciduous tree found in open. Bark is pale, somewhat corky with shallow furrows.
