  • Key identification features : A slender prostrate herb with dichotomous branches, rooting at nodes. Leaves are opposite, subsessile, elliptic. Stipules are interpetiolar. Flowers are minute, white, sessile, solitary and axillary. Calyx is densely pilose. Corlla is funnel-shaped, ovary is 2-celled, with numerous axile ovules. Fruit is globose.
