Key identification features : A ferruginous prickly shrub with recurved prickles. Leaves are ovate, 3-4 nerved with tomentum. Flowers are axillary, sessile and with 10-lobed yellowish disc at the centre. Petals are greenish. Fruit is a drupe, black when ripe.
Habit : Climbing Shrub

Comments : Common along hedges and in forests. Berries are edible.
