  • Key identification features : A large climbing shrub, glabrous. Leaves opposite, trifoliolate, membraneous, glabrous; terminal leaflets ovate-lanceolate, 7-11 x 3.5-6 cm, cuneate, rounded to truncate at base, acuminate and shortly mucronate at apex. Flowers are white, in terminal or axillary, lax panicled cymes. Bracts are linear, with calyx tube upro 2 mm long, 5-lobed and minute. Corolla is white, pink outside in the bud up to 2 xm long tube and 6-lobed, half as long as tube. Berry is black, ellipsoid.
