  • Key identification features : A scandent shrub, sometimes erect. Young parts are velvety-tomentose. Leaves are simple, opposite, ovate, acute at apex and pubescent or tomentose. Flowers are sessile, white, in dense, terminal or capitate cymes. Bracts are ovate-lanceolate. Calyx is densely hairy. Corolla tube is upto 2 cm long. Lobes are about 6-9, oblong-lanceolate.
