  • Key identification features : Small trees. Leaves are opposite, shortly petiolate, elliptic-obovate, obtuse or sub-acute. Inflorescence of generally terminal corrymbose cymes with white flowers. Calyx is obscurely lobed, corolla is calyptrate, white staminal disc is absent. Berry is blackish-purple and a globose fleshy fruit.
