- Key identification features : A large handsome evergreen tree with a dense spreading crown. Bark is exfoliating. Leaves are compound, alternate, with large leaflets. Flowers are upto a cm long, fragrant and borne on large drooping terminal panicles. They are unisexual, both male and female flowers appearing on the same tree. Fruit is 2-3 cm. long, five lobed and star-like on dehiscence. Seeds are winged.
